4. Anthony Gonzalez

Anthony Gonzalez is another guy that TTUN fans love to hate because of his tendency to kill them in big moments. Gonzo only played 6 games in 2004 and caught just 8 passes all season. But in The Game when the Buckeyes were underdogs, he had 2 catches for 77 yards and a touchdown.

2005 was his biggest moment as a Michigan killer. He had 4 catches for 75 yards in the Big House, including a huge first-down converting catch late in the game where he took a huge hit. That catch gave the Buckeyes the ball in the red zone and helped them win that game.

In 2006, Gonzalez had 4 catches for 50 yards and a touchdown against TTUN. He once again showed that he could hurt them no matter what they did to try and cover him. Even though he played well in 2004 and 2006, that 2005 catch is his defining moment in this rivalry.

Gonzalez won’t be remembered as one of the all-time Buckeye greats. But he will be remembered as a guy that always killed Michigan no matter what. That’s something that means a lot to Buckeye fans, especially the fact that he didn’t lose to them a single time.

The next guy on this list might be the face of the game that TTUN fans hate more than any other game they’ve played against the Buckeyes.
