The Ohio State football program has been looking for a quarterback in the 2024 class ever since Dylan Raiola de-committed. It was one of the priorities for Ryan Day and his staff to get settled. They were able to get their quarterback for that class tonight.

While he doesn’t have the five-star rating like Raiola does, this guy is still pretty darn good. That guy is Air Noland. Noland is someone that we’ve been keeping our eye on for a while now. He is a four-star prospect and is rated as the 8th-best quarterback in the country.

Noland comes from the state of Georgia and had some big schools after him. He chose the Buckeyes over Clemson, Miami, Arkansas, and a host of others. He liked how Day has been able to develop quarterbacks for the NFL, which is his ultimate goal.

Looking at the tape, Noland has a strong arm and great ball placement. He gives his receivers a chance to gain a lot of yards after the catch, which is something that Ohio State receivers are going to love. That helps them rack up the yards and touchdowns.

With this commitment, the Buckeyes now have nine recruits in their 2024 class. They currently have the fourth-best recruiting class in the country. That number could continue to rise once the Spring Game is played next weekend when multiple prospects are taking a visit.

Day has a good start on this recruiting class so far. It seems that the Ohio State football team is replenishing that offense. I’d love to see them get some more commits on the defensive side of the ball, but that should come later in the Spring and the Summer.

Noland is a great prospect and should help this team down the line.
