The Ohio State football team’s Pro Day was a day for current NFL prospects to show off their skills. Players like C.J. Stroud, Paris Johnson Jr., Zach Harrison, Ronnie Hickman, and others were there to show off for scouts. They all did so very well yesterday.

There were also a few players who are on the current Ohio State football team who helped with the workouts, namely Jayden Ballard, Xavier Johnson, and Marvin Harrison Jr. They all helped catch passes from Stroud. One of those players already has scouts drooling over his NFL potential.

That player is Marvin Harrison Jr. Harrison Jr. had his dad on hand to watch him catch all kinds of passes from Stroud, including a couple deep down the sideline. Harrison Jr. was arguably the best receiver in college football a year ago and was uncoverable at times.

Scouts had this to say about how too Harrison Jr. looked at the Pro Day on Wednesday:

Harrison Jr. projects to be the number one receiver taken in the 2024 NFL Draft. There’s a great chance that he is a top-five pick based on what he showed last season and in the Rose Bowl in 2021. He’s the best receiver in the country heading into this college football season.

Harrison Jr’s combination of size, speed, and fluidity makes him the ultimate weapon outside. He’s not as fast as his Hall of Fame dad, but he’s bigger and has a larger catch radius. Whoever the starting quarterback ends up being, he has a true number-one receiver to throw to.

I hope Harrison Jr. ends up playing for the same team his dad did at the next level, but that’s a problem for 2024. Right now, I hope Harrison Jr. helps lead the Buckeyes to a national championship in 2023.
