The Ohio State football program hosted a pretty big Pro Day today. It was one where hundreds of NFL personnel descended to take a look at multiple Buckeye prospects. C.J. Stroud was of course the prospect getting the most attention as he could potentially be the number one pick.

Stroud looked good in the throwing portion of this workout. He threw balls to Marvin Harrison Jr, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Jayden Ballard, and others. Scouts seemed to like what they saw. He also threw well at the Combine, so NFL teams knew what they were going to see.

As far as JSN is concerned, he put up some decent numbers. He ran a 4.50 40-yard dash and looked good catching the ball. It’s still concerning to scouts that he decided to sit out the end of the Buckeyes’ season, and that’s why he might be a mid-to-late first-round pick.

Tanner McCalister did well for himself today. He ran the fastest 40-yard dash of any of the Buckeyes out there today, running a 4.44. He followed that up with a 10-foot broad jump. He’s probably a late draft pick, so putting up these numbers helps his case.

Zach Harrison had a 34.5-inch vertical jump today, showing off his athleticism. He could be a sneaky third or fourth round pick for someone next month. Paris Johnson Jr. and Luke Wypler also impressed with their blocking drills. Taron Vincent looked good out there as well.

There were plenty of head coaches and GMs out there at the Woody today. The Ohio State football program always does a great job of preparing players for the Draft. There will be several Buckeyes that hear their names called in late April once the Draft finally gets here.

Stroud showed people what they already knew. JSN showed how fast he is and what his ceiling is at the next level. Johnson Jr. showed his power and footwork. All three will likely be first-round picks.
