The Ohio State basketball team has advanced to take on Iowa today in the Big Ten Tournament. They did so after beating Wisconsin 65-57 last night after almost blowing a 27-point lead. In the end, they were able to make sure their great first half didn’t go to waste.

Now they take on an Iowa team that they went 1-1 against in the regular season. In both of those games, the Buckeyes had some good offensive showings. In fact, they scored the most points in a Big Ten game in their win against Iowa when they scored 93 points.

Are they going to be able to beat the Hawkeyes again? In order to do so, Bruce Thornton has to continue his tear. He’s been excellent to end the season. Sean McNeil was great last night in the first half as well. Both players need to be aggressive for the Buckeyes to have a shot.

Ohio State Basketball vs. Iowa: Best bets

According to FanDuel, Ohio State is a 3.5-point underdog. With such a small spread, it might be worth it to just take the Buckeyes on the moneyline. You get +138 odds if you do that. The over/under is set at 153.5. Based on the two previous games between these two, the over is where you should go.

Prediction: Ohio State Basketball 82 Iowa 77

Call me crazy, but I think the Buckeyes get another one in the Big Ten Tourney before getting bounced. Even though they panicked a bit last night, they still came out on top. That win should give them some confidence and push them toward a win this afternoon.
