No. 2: Tommy Eichenberg, LB

Tommy Eichenberg is an absolute beast and the heart and soul of the Buckeye team. Breaking both his thumbs throughout the course of last season and not missing a single snap had players and coaches alike praising his toughness in 2022.

Eichenberg will be called upon to do even more in 2023 as a third-year starter for this defense. He led the team with 120 tackles and added 2.5 sacks with an interception returned for a touchdown against Iowa. Completely monster numbers as Eichenberg reminds me of Buckeye middle linebackers of back in the day when they were ‘Linebacker U.’

No. 1: Marvin Harrison Jr, WR

Is the one even really a debate? Marvin Harrison Jr. was absolutely the best wide receiver in college football last season and no, I don’t care what the Biletnikoff Award committee has to say on the matter. The fact is that according to multiple NFL personnel this week at the combine, Harrison Jr. would have been a top-five draft pick in this year’s draft.

We saw his talent fully displayed against Georgia in the Peach Bowl before his injury. With five receptions for 105 yards and two touchdowns, Georgia’s defense had no answers.

Next. 3 coaches more annoying than Dabo Swinney. dark

It’s going to be awesome to see what Marv and Emeka Egbuka can both do together as second-year starters. And as long as Harrison can stay healthy, being selected No. 1 overall in next year’s NFL Draft is not out of the question.
