The Ohio State football program is one of the best programs in college football year in and year out. They win a lot of games and produce a ton of first-round draft picks. They are one of the premier destinations in the country when it comes to playing football.

Data once again proves that if you go to Ohio State, your odds of becoming a great NFL player increase. No one between 2014-2022 produced more All Pros than the Ohio State football program according to OLBG. They produced a whopping 19 All-Pro players during that span.

Ohio State produces some of the highest-paid players in the league as well. We’ve told you about the contracts that Michael Thomas, Ezekiel Elliott, Corey Linsley, and Joey Bosa have signed. All were record-setting deals when they were signed. All were former Buckeyes.

Ryan Day needs to use these tools for recruiting. NIL right now is great, but getting developed at a place that can help prepare you to sign a record-breaking deal later on in your career is even better. That’s generational type of wealth once you get that kind of money.

Recruiting has been up and down over the past couple of years for the Buckeyes. You can’t possibly say it’s been bad, although there are some concerning numbers at certain positions. If the staff shows some prospective recruits these data points, they make persuading them to come here a lot easier.

The number of All-Pros will continue to go up as the years go on as well. Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave look well on their way to becoming All-Pros as well after the type of rookie seasons they had. C.J. Stroud and Paris Johnson Jr. have a shot to reach that level someday in this year’s class as well.
