The Ohio State football team will have to stop Blake Corum if they want to beat TTUN.

TTUN has a two-game winning streak against the Buckeyes. In a cruel twist of fate, Blake Corum hardly played against them last season because of an injury. It didn’t matter. TTUN still steamrolled the Buckeyes in the Shoe for a 20+ point victory.

Corum is back for his senior season and is still a really good football player. He’s the best player on TTUN, which is arguably the best team in the Big Ten. Until Ohio State can knock them off that pedestal, that’s the crown that team deserves. Stopping Corum is paramount to regaining that crown.

Despite only carrying the ball twice against the Buckeyes and not appearing in the CFP game against TCU, Corum still finished with 1,463 yards and 18 touchdowns last season. After the first three games of the season, he gained 100+ yards in every game until he got hurt.

Stopping the run has been a big problem for Ohio State against Michigan. Stopping Corum is the best way for the Buckeyes to finally end the losing streak. It’s not going to be easy, but that’s what has to be done. Corum is a really good football player.
