Final Score Prediction: Ohio State 38, Georgia 31

I want to believe that Ryan Day, C.J. Stroud, Tommy Eichenberg, and the rest of the Ohio State football team will want to avenge the Michigan game in the worst way possible. They have had this taste in their mouths for a month now. The question is how badly they want it.

This Georgia team is better than Michigan. In all honesty, they are better than Ohio State. But it’s time for the Buckeyes to prove that they belong on the same level as the top programs in college football. This is the only way to do it. By knocking out the defending champ. By beating the best team in the SEC.

It will take everybody on Ohio State’s roster to play at their very best. Stroud can’t afford to have an ‘off-game.’ Miyan Williams is going to need to rush with authority and be healthy. The offensive line will need to play its best game of the season. And the defense will have to not allow big plays and create a few turnovers.

Ohio State has the horses to beat Georgia. Now it’s just about being focused, disciplined, and playing to their capabilities. I want to believe that Ryan Day will have this team motivated and ready to roll.

Look for a less aggressive approach on the defensive side of the ball to make quarterback Stetson Bennett beat them.  On the other side of the ball, Stroud will need to be smart and accurate with the football. He will need to make plays down the field to his receivers. The rushing attack will need to provide just enough to keep Georgia honest.

Next. Peach Bowl could be a program-changing game. dark

It’s possible to win this game. The Buckeyes just need to believe that they can do it.

Ohio State 38, Georgia 31.
