The Ohio State football team is gearing up to play Georgia in the Peach Bowl at the end of the month. Here are three surprise players for the game.

The Ohio State football team and head coach Ryan Day have their work cut out for them in the Peach Bowl against Georgia. The Bulldogs come in as the unanimous No. 1 team in the country and they will most certainly be the best team that Ohio State has seen to date.

Led by Heisman finalist Stetson Bennett, this Georgia team will present the ultimate test for Ohio State but also presents a huge opportunity. Ryan Day and the Buckeyes could get the taste of two bad Michigan losses out of their mouths with a victory on December 31st.

With about a month of preparation and practice heading into the game, Ohio State might be able to unleash some unlikely players for the big game. Here are three surprise Buckeyes who could have a big impact on the Peach Bowl.

No. 3: Sonny Styles, Safety

The huge five-star recruit from suburban Columbus might be ready to have a role against Georgia in the Peach Bowl. The last time we saw Ohio State take the field against Michigan, the safety play was atrocious.

With a month of practices under his belt, Styles might be the guy that defensive coordinator Jim Knowles and head coach Ryan Day lean upon to help stop this two-headed monster tight end attack that Georgia has with Brock Bowers and Darnell Washington, who were named first and second team All-SEC tight ends, respectively.

Styles has played a bunch on special teams which usually is an indication that a young player is close to seeing real game action. Look for Styles to possibly have a role on defense in the Peach Bowl against these two great tight ends of Georgia.
