The Ohio State football team will be watching tonight’s Pac-10 Championship game very closely. A Utah win would likely get OSU into the CFP.

The Ohio State football team needs help in order to make the College Football Playoffs. The most likely scenario includes a Utah victory tonight over USC in the Pac-10 Championship game. The Utes are more than capable of pulling off the win.

Utah is coming in after beating the living heck out of Colorado last week, 63-21. And furthermore, Utah beat USC back in October in a 43-42 thriller game. It’s a game in which Utah quarterback Cam Rising threw for over 400 yards. Tonight’s game should feature a lot of points as the team with the ball last might pull off the win.

But if the Utes can come out victorious, that should be enough for Ohio State to sneak into the four seed and set up a game with Georgia. The Bulldogs are a great football team but they are not a super team like they were a season ago with all that NFL talent on defense. If Ohio State can get healthy and learn from its mistakes against Michigan, beating Georgia is something that can happen.

And that would hopefully set the stage for the most anticipated Ohio State-Michigan game ever. A national championship game. This is absolutely a chance for Ryan Day to quickly squash the hate he’s been getting for losing twice to Michigan. It’s a chance for C.J. Stroud to finally get one over on Jim Harbaugh. It’s a chance at redemption and the Buckeyes need to grab on a cease it.

Next. 3 replacements for Hartline if he eventually leaves. dark

I want Michigan again. I think Ohio State can learn from last week’s loss and come out with a better plan, especially defensively. You know Jim Knowles must be salivating at the thought of getting another chance at J.J. McCarthy.

But it all starts tonight. Let’s go Utah, bring on the Wolverines!
