The Ohio State football team takes on Maryland this afternoon in their final game before taking on TTUN. It’s a game that they should win because of how much more talented they are than the Terrapins. It would still help to have healthy players available though.

Ryan Day mentioned that he was hoping to get two of the three injured running backs back for this game. It looks like they will indeed get two of them back. TreVeyon Henderson is one of those backs. He will start after missing the last game with an injury.

Chip Trayanum will also be back if he is needed. So the healthy backs will be Henderson, Trayanum, and Dallan Hayden. Miyan Williams will not play but there is optimism that he should be back for The Game. That’s fine. That’s when the Buckeyes really need him.

The most encouraging thing about the injury report is that the Ohio State football team is mostly healthy for the first time in a long time. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is out. but that was to be expected. They probably won’t have him next week either. We’ll see if Ohio State can win anyway.

Dawand Jones will return as the starting right tackle as well. Denzel Burke will be back at corner too. It’s good to have all of these guys back for today’s game. What will hopefully happen is that the starters get some good reps in the first half before being pulled midway through the third quarter.

This is the healthiest the Buckeyes have been in several weeks. Hopefully, they can get even healthier for next week’s epic clash.
