Ohio State Football vs. Maryland Best Bets for Week 12

The Ohio State football team has one game to play before the big one. They take on Maryland this afternoon in a game that will be harder than the experts think, at least at first. It will be a challenge to stop Maryland’s offense because of how good Taulia Tagovailoa can be.

In case you wanted to put even more stress on yourself during this game, there are some bets that you can take part in. I found some interesting in-game bets that will make this game interesting even if I think the Buckeyes will dominate it throughout.

Yes, despite the fact that Maryland has a good offense, I don’t see how they compete with the Buckeyes. They are too good of a team to be knocked down with a loss at this stage of the season against a team that has lesser talent than they do.

According to FanDuel, the Buckeyes sit at 26.5-point favorites. I think that’s something they cover pretty easily. I know Maryland is good, but they aren’t good enough defensively to stop the passing attack of the Buckeyes. That’s part of the reason I think the total goes over too.

The over/under is set at 63.5. I have the Buckeyes winning by a score of 48-17 so I think that the over hits again. Maryland will get some points on the board to help with that. I don’t see much scoring from either team in the fourth quarter though.

I actually like Emeka Egbuka‘s odds to be the first touchdown scorer at 6-1. I think there will be a lot of attention paid to Marvin Harrison Jr. and I think that Ohio State will have a passing touchdown be the way they get on the board first. Egbuka has the best odds for that in my opinion.

Speaking of passing touchdowns, I also like over 3.5 passing touchdowns for C.J. Stroud. I think he puts up a lot of yards and touchdowns before he eventually gets pulled. The weather won’t be bad so he can sling it around out there.
