Ohio State football vs. Maryland: Weather report
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team goes on the road for the final time this year as they take on the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday afternoon. This is also the final game they play before taking on TTUN so it’s their last chance to tune up before that clash.
The Buckeyes have already played in some bad weather the last few weeks. Last week against Indiana was cold and snowy. Against Northwestern, they had to deal with almost Hurricane-force winds. We saw what that did to the Buckeyes in that game. How will the weather be this weekend?
Luckily for the Buckeyes, it should be pretty good. It will be about 44 degrees and sunny when the game kicks off with minimal winds. It will drop into the upper 30s by the time the game is over, but there will be no precipitation. That’s the key factor in this, as well as no strong winds.
While this is good for the Ohio State football team, it’s not so good for Maryland. Bad weather was the only way that they were going to have a chance to pull a massive upset. Now they just have to hope that the Buckeyes overlook them before the big showdown in the Shoe.
While the weather looks good for the Maryland game, the weather forecast is a little dicey for The Game. That game is still over a week away of course so the forecast will surely change seven times before then. That’s a problem to worry about next week.
Right now, the Buckeyes just have to worry about taking care of business against Maryland. If they do that, all of their goals are still in front of them.
