The Ohio State football team has their final home game before TTUN comes to town in a few weeks. This will be the last time a bad football team comes to Columbus. IU is probably the second-worst Big Ten team the Buckeyes have seen besides Northwestern.

Coming off a week where the weather was bad and the team struggled to beat the Wildcats, this is an important game. Ohio State has some things they have to fix immediately. This is a good game to do those things because the weather will actually be normal for this one.

IU comes in a broken team. Jack Tuttle left last week’s game against Penn State with an injury so it could be Connor Bazelak once again for the Hoosiers. He’s only thrown 12 touchdowns and 9 interceptions this year, so he hasn’t been the best out there.

The Hoosiers are 3-6 and have only beaten Illinois in the Big Ten this year. They just gave up 45 points to Penn State. There’s no reason why the Ohio State football team can’t destroy IU this week too. They have by far and away the more talented team.

The Ohio State football team needs to run the ball better against IU

Without question, the number one thing the Buckeyes need to do is run the ball better. It’s become a serious issue with this team for three straight weeks. This is an issue that has to get corrected before Michigan comes to town, otherwise they are in big trouble.

IU isn’t a good defense, so this should be a good week to get the run game straightened out. Whether it’s Miyan Williams or TreVeyon Henderson getting reps, this is a game where they have to produce. If they don’t, things will get ugly two weeks from now.
