Ohio State football ready to let two-headed monster take over

The Ohio State football team is known for being able to pass the ball with great ease. They have been able to get whatever they want through the air with the myriad of weapons that C.J. Stroud has available to him. No team has been able to stop him or shut him down completely.

Ohio State is about to face a lot more stiff competition after this bye week. While I don’t think that competition can stop the passing game, the Buckeyes are still going to be in games where they are going to want to slow the game down at times. They can do that too.

We’ve seen that the Buckeyes can run the ball and control the time of possession when they need to. That’s exactly what they did against Notre Dame on their way to a 21-10 victory. That was the closest game that this team has played so far this season.

The two-headed monster of TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Williams have shown the ability to be the number one guy at any time. Both have had big games this year and are trusted by the coaching staff. Ryan Day knows the importance of running the ball too.

Williams has been the better back so far this year because Henderson has been dealing with some injuries this season. This bye week should help clear those injury concerns. I expect both backs to be healthy and very productive for the remaining six games of the season.

It’s great to know that this offense can win games in multiple ways depending on the situation that arises. Ohio State is unique in that way. Not every offense in the country can do that when they truly need to. That’s why Ohio State has the best offense in the country.
