Julian Fleming is finally healthy for the Ohio State football team

It’s been a rough three years at Ohio State for Julian Fleming. After coming in as the number one receiver recruit in the 2020 class, Fleming has yet to be healthy for an entire season. Even this year he started off hurt, missing the first two games of the season.

Since returning from that injury though, Fleming has been really good. He has 11 catches for 141 yards and 4 touchdowns in the last three games. Without Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Fleming has been getting more opportunities to play and contribute. He’s taking the most of his opportunity.

I expect Fleming to continue that today. Even if JSN does suit up, Fleming is still going to get plenty of snaps. He’s shown that he can be a really good player when he’s healthy. I expect him to have a touchdown catch against the Spartans and he should continue his run of great play.

This is another guy the Buckeyes are going to need down the stretch. When the entire receiving corp is healthy, this is the most dangerous group of guys in the entire country. Fleming might be the fourth guy on the depth chart, but he’s no less dangerous than the others.

I expect all three of these players to have solid games today against Michigan State. I also expect them to be a big part of the rest of the season as the games continue.
