The Ohio State football team was on the road for the first time in the 2022 season when they took on Michigan State. It didn’t matter. They played like they have all year long at home, obliterating Michigan State 49-20. The offense was fantastic for the Buckeyes all game.

C.J. Stroud was brilliant in this game, going 21/26 for 361 yards and 6 touchdowns in just three quarters. He did throw a pick-six early on which was a miscommunication between him and Emeka Egbuka. That was really the only bad thing this offense did in this game.

Marvin Harrison Jr. was unreal yet again, catching 7 passes for 131 yards and 3 touchdowns. He became the first receiver in Ohio State football history to catch three touchdown passes in three different games, and he’s only a sophomore. This guy is unreal.

Emeka Egbuka had 5 catches for 143 yards and a 69-yard touchdown pass as well. Julian Fleming also had 4 catches for 81 yards and a touchdown. The receivers were just as great as Stroud was in this one. They did this all without Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is their best player.

TreVeyon Henderson played well in this game too. He had 77 yards rushing in the first quarter and ended up finishing with118 yards and a touchdown on just 19 carries. He was hurt in the game and wasn’t put back in, but it was reported that he could’ve come back if needed.

Allowing only 13 points again showed that the defense wasn’t rattled on the road either. The Ohio State Buckeyes look like a formidable opponent against anyone. No one in the country can stop this offense right now. I truly believe that’s how well they are playing.

They should only get better too because this team now has a bye next week to get healthy. This offense is scary beyond imagination when they have a full stable of players at their disposal.
