Ohio State football vs. Michigan State: Weather report
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team ventures on the road for the first time this season when they take on Michigan State in East Lansing on Saturday afternoon. The Buckeyes are looking to increase their record to 6-0 and take make a statement that they are as good on the road as they are at home.
Michigan State is trying to play the role of spoiler. They know that they won’t be playing for a Big Ten title this year. What they can do is make it so Ohio State has a much harder shot at that goal. If they win this game, that would make it harder for Ohio State to do so.
In order for the Spartans to do that, they are going to need as much help as possible. That means getting some help in terms of bad health from the Buckeyes and also some help from the weather. Will they get that help from the weather on Saturday afternoon?
How the weather will be for the Ohio State football team’s game on Saturday
As of right now, the weather is supposed to be a bit chilly. It will be about 56 degrees at kickoff time at 4 pm. The temperature will only fall a bit after that, getting to 52 by the time the game ends. The biggest issue that the two teams will have to contend with is the wind.
The wind will be blowing anywhere from 15-20 mph sustained and could have some gusts up to 25 mph. That could seriously affect both the passing game and the kicking game. Michigan State better hope that C.J. Stroud can’t throw in the wind on the road.
If it was also supposed to rain, I’d be more worried. Since it’s not, I’d say the weather won’t hinder the Ohio State Buckeyes’ attempt to go 6-0.
