3. Ohio State football 38, Wisconsin 21

I believe that this Wisconsin Badger team is better than what people give them credit for. Yes, they had a wonky loss to Washington State but don’t write them off as not a threat. They actually have a few playmakers on this team. Many more than Notre Dame had.

This team is also very well coached on defense, and they also have the likely favorite for Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in linebacker Nick Herbig, who had nine sacks last season. The Ohio State offensive line must account for him on all passing downs.

My prediction is that Wisconsin gets some early scores and as Jim Knowles and his defense settle down, C.J. Stroud and this Buckeye offense will make some big plays in the second half to pull away in the fourth quarter. Ohio State just has too much talent. Ohio State 38, Wisconsin 21.

We’ll see if that score ends up being true. I don’t have the Buckeyes quite covering the spread as it stands now. The only time they’ve covered the spread so far is last week’s dominant victory over Toledo. It would be nice if they were able to in this one too.
