2. The Ohio State football will get a big game from Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been a non-factor through three games this season. His game-one injury has all but derailed what was supposed to be a historic season for the former five-star. But Saturday night, a primetime game in Ohio Stadium will be his time to shine.

Jay Shaw, who transferred last offseason from UCLA, is Wisconsin’s best corner and was a second-team All-Pac 12 player last season. But he has not faced anyone close to the talent that JSN has.

I would expect Ohio State to come out passing early to try and loosen up this Badger defense. That will mean a lot of balls thrown Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s way early and often. Look from some screen and shallow passes to get JSN involved, and then Ryan Day will most certainly dial up some long balls when the time is right.

My prediction for JSN is 10 catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns. If he is able to come close to those numbers, the Badgers have absolutely no shot at winning this game, no matter what the other receivers do in this game.

My final bold prediction has to do with what the final score will be in Ohio State’s final home night game of the season.
