Ohio State football vs. Wisconsin: Prediction and Odds for Week 4 College Football
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team has their first Big Ten Conference game of the season this Saturday night when Wisconsin comes into the shoe. This will be the toughest team that the Buckeyes have faced so far now that we know how bad Notre Dame actually is.
Ohio State is still the best team in the Big Ten. They have the most talent and they have the coaching to help them reach their full potential as well. Wisconsin has some talent on the team, but not enough to be considered the favorites to win this game.
Ohio State football vs. Wisconsin Odds Week 4
According to FanDuel, the Buckeyes are 17.5-point favorites against the Badgers. It’s not the whopping amount of points that they were favored over Toledo last week, but it’s still a sizable amount. The Buckeyes are better based on the talent on the roster.
As far as the over/under is concerned, it is set at 56.5. Ohio State scored that amount of points by themselves last weekend. The Buckeyes scored 20 more points than that number in fact. I don’t expect them to score that many points this weekend, but the over/under is set at an interesting number.
Ohio State football vs. Wisconsin Prediction Week 4
Wisconsin is a team that can give the Buckeyes trouble. They run the ball well and can keep Ohio State’s offense off the field if they do that well. The Ohio State football team has an improved defense that should be able to stop the Badgers well enough to win this game.
As far as covering the spread is concerned, I have to think that they do. Based on what we saw from the offense last weekend against the Rockets. I think the Buckeyes win the game Saturday night 45-21.
