The Ohio State football team has one more game left before the Big Ten portion of their schedule starts. They face the Rockets of Toledo on Saturday night at 7 pm in the Shoe. This is a game that the Rockets are attending just to collect a paycheck and get beaten down.

Ohio State will finally be healthy and have all of the guys that they thought they were going to have early on in the season. They should be able to move the ball at will no matter who they have out there. I suspect this is a game where the backups get a lot of snaps.

Toledo does have a good defense based on who they’ve played so far, but those two teams were truly awful. They haven’t played anyone with the caliber of players that the Buckeyes have. I expect Ohio State to jump on them early and keep their foot on the gas.

On defense, I’d like to see the Buckeyes actually force some turnovers. I’d also like to see the defensive ends get some sacks. Mike Hall has been a stud as a defensive tackle, but no one else has gotten to the quarterback up front like he has.

I was disappointed to see the Buckeyes fail to cover the spread the last two weeks. I don’t think the same thing happens this week. Ryan Day is gearing his team up for a Big Ten season that starts off with the Badgers of Wisconsin, who can be a bit frisky if they get the running game going.

Next. Three keys to beating Toledo. dark

If this game is within two scores at halftime I’ll be shocked. I think this is the game where we finally see a dominant performance from the Buckeyes on both sides of the ball.
