The Ohio State football team plays Toledo this week in a night game. It’s definitely strange that this is a night game, but we know TV executives love putting OSU on at night. It’s a game that doesn’t come with a lot of mystery in terms of which team will win.

If you’re a bettor, however, this game could be quite fun. Ohio State has yet to cover the spread so far this season and this game has another large spread to contend with. There are a few bets that I think can be made to enhance your experience watching this game.

Best Ohio State football team bets Week 3

The spread for this game is 31.5, with the Buckeyes being favored. Ohio State didn’t cover last week’s large spread against Arkansas State and couldn’t quite cover against Notre Dame either. I think this week will end up being a bit different though.

Ohio State has their full complement of receivers back for the first time all season. I would expect them to put up a ton of points in this game. The defense will also be showing more of the new system and continues to get better every game.

The over/under for this game is set at 62.5. I would expect the Buckeyes to almost come to that point total themselves now that they have everyone back from injury. I think this game has more than 63 points scored in it based on what my final prediction will be, which will be revealed tomorrow.

I think this is the perfect time to get the offense going at full force. Wisconsin comes to town next week for yet another night game and are always tough to beat with their running game. Getting both the offense and defense at full tilt is the priority for this game.
