Can Zach Harrison have a better game for the Ohio State football team in Week 2?

This is Zach Harrison‘s last go-round with the Buckeyes. After being a five-star recruit in high school, as well as a local kid, big things were expected from him. He was thought to be the next great defensive end to come through the Ohio State football program.

Unfortunately, he has largely failed to live up to expectations. He only had 8.5 sacks in his first three years with the Buckeyes. He was hoping to have a big start to the 2022 season against a great opponent in Notre Dame. Instead, he only had two tackles in the game.

While Harrison did move the pocket at times, he wasn’t nearly as effective as Mike Hall or J.T. Tuimoloau. His snap count was already down in that game, getting beaten out by JTT and Jack Sawyer by a significant margin. His time to make an impact is dwindling.

If Harrison doesn’t have a good game against Arkansas State, he could be watching a lot of the season from the bench while the younger guys make more of an impact. It would be a sad end to a career that started with so much promise and talent.

I think Harrison will have more of an opportunity in this game to make an impact and get more time on the field because of how bad the Red Wolves are. He better make the most of it. The final player I’m keeping an eye on is one of the wide receivers.
