The Ohio State football team starts their season tonight against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. It will be a battle of two top-five teams. It is one of the most anticipated matchups in college football all year long. This game will have everyone’s attention.

Ohio State football injury report vs. Notre Dame Week 1

The Ohio State football team will come into tonight’s game mostly healthy. They will of course be without Evan Pryor for the entire season because of a torn ACL. After that, the Buckeyes are pretty healthy. Notre Dame, on the other hand, is not. They are missing their best receiver and might be without starting offensive lineman Jarrett Patterson, as he is a game-time decision.

Ohio State football vs. Notre Dame odds, spread, over/under, and betting pick Week 1

The Buckeyes continue to be 17-point favorites heading into tonight’s game. That’s pretty high for a top-five matchup. The over/under is set at 59 now. I think the Buckeyes will cover the spread and will win the game 42-20 and start the season off with a win.

Ohio State’s next game and schedule

Ohio State’s next game is at home next week against Arkansas State. In fact, the next four Ohio State games are at home in the Shoe. After Arkansaw State, the Buckeyes take on Toledo at night, Wisconsin (probably at night but not confirmed), and Rutgers for homecoming.

The Buckeyes shouldn’t be focused on any of those games though. They should only be focused on tonight’s game right now. It’s going to be a handful.
