The Ohio State football team slips up in conference play

As good as this team is, I don’t think it’s one of the all-time Buckeye teams. Only those teams are able to go through an entire regular season undefeated. I don’t trust the defense quite as much as I’d like to, and the same goes for the offensive line in the run game.

Because of that, I think the Buckeyes lose their first Big Ten game on the slate. That game is home against Wisconsin in what will almost surely be a night game. It will also be the only team that the Buckeyes face that will be able to execute a game plan enough to beat them in conference play.

Wisconsin has such a good run game that they can keep the ball away from the Buckeyes and keep C.J. Stroud and company off the field. I think the defense will struggle to stop the run and I could see the Badgers walking out with a seven-point victory.

I do think that’s the only loss Ohio State has in the regular season though. I think they get revenge on TTUN and beat them up pretty good. Stroud and the rest of the offense are too good to be stopped, especially at the end of the season. The defense will have come around by then too.

In the end, I think the Buckeyes beat TTUN to win the Big Ten East and advance to the Big Ten Championship Game where they get a rematch with the Badgers. Would the same thing happen to them again?
