Ted Ginn Jr. was a return threat every game for the Ohio State football team.

No one before or since has been a bigger return threat than Ted Ginn Jr. Ginn Jr. was a threat to take the ball to the house every time he touched it. He is still one of the fastest players to ever play for the Buckeyes, and that’s what made him such a dangerous return man.

Ginn still holds the school record for most return touchdowns in a single season when he took four punt returns to the house as a true freshman in 2004. He finished his career with 8 total returns for touchdowns, which is also an Ohio State record.

Ginn was never quite the receiving threat that people thought he was going to be. He only had 15 career receiving touchdowns and 1,943 career receiving yards. But he was used in the running game like no other receivers were used at the time too.

In the running game, he had 28 carries for 213 yards and 3 touchdowns in his career. He was a threat to score no matter how the Buckeyes were able to get the ball in his hands. A lot of fans still think his ankle sprain in the National Title Game in 2006 is what lost it for Ohio State.

Because of his speed and his athleticism, he deserves this spot on this list. Ohio State is still trying to find a return threat that is remotely close to how good he was. He was just something special. The next guy on this list was a special receiver too.
