The Ohio State football team wins a national title because of Stroud.

Ohio State has a really favorable schedule this season. They don’t play any of their toughest games this year on the road. Penn State is their hardest game on the road and they were really bad last year. They should be able to take care of the Nittany Lions in a day game in State College.

Notre Dame and TTUN are the two toughest games the Buckeyes will play, and both will in the comfort of the Shoe. Ohio State’s offense is more than skilled enough to handle both of those teams. Stroud is going to be a big part of that as well.

The defense is going to be what could keep Ohio State from winning a national title. I tend to think that they will be better than what they were last year, but I can’t confirm that until I see it in action. We won’t see that against real competition until September 3rd against the Fighting Irish.

Regardless, Stroud and the Buckeye offense are more than good enough to lead this team to the promised land. They just have to not turn the ball over and they should be fine. There might only be one or two defenses in the country that can slow down this offense, and that might be me being generous.

I think this is the window for the Buckeyes to win it all. They lose a lot of talent on offense after this year, including Stroud. This is the year to get lofty and think about winning a national title. If they don’t this year, it might not be until 2024 that they can dream about it again.

The last bold prediction I have for Stroud is probably my loftiest prediction of them all.
