The Ohio State football program has the best recruiting class for 2023. They are barely ahead of Notre Dame for that distinction. One program they are miles ahead of in the rankings is their rival TTUN. Ohio State is killing them because they have a historically bad class.

TTUN right now has the 36th-best class in the country for 2023. That’s the worst ranking they’ve had since they finished 37th in the 2015 recruiting class. They only have 11 commits right now and don’t have a single five-star recruit for this class either.

Right now, the Wolverines have the 9th-best recruiting class in just the Big Ten. They have powerhouses such as Purdue, Minnesota, and Northwestern ahead of them right now. Under no circumstances should that be the case for such a storied program like TTUN.

Jim Harbaugh seems to be getting rid of all the goodwill he built up from last season’s success after finally beating Ohio State and making the College Football Playoff. Since the season ended, only bad decisions have been made by him in the offseason.

He flirted with going to the NFL. Only after NFL teams decided they didn’t want him did Harbaugh decide to sign an extension with TTUN. Then he proclaimed that he was in it for the long haul and would be there as long as TTUN would have him.

Clearly, recruits have snuffed out that lie. They know that he was looking for other jobs and probably will continue to do so in the near future. Why go somewhere when the coach is going to turn around and leave in the next couple of years? Recruits know they have better options.

We’ll see if TTUN is able to improve its ranking at all. I’m not sure it’s going to by much. At this point, I’d be shocked if they had a top-25 class. You love to see it!
