It’s the heat of summer right now. That means that it’s peak recruiting time right now. The Ohio State football program has taken advantage of that and has landed three strong recruits in the past week. Now is no time to slow down for the Buckeyes.

The Buckeyes will keep recruiting hard and will keep getting announcements from recruits. While last week’s commitments were all on the offensive side of the ball, Ohio State has a chance to be getting some defensive commitments here soon too. They need more help on defense anyway.

Ohio State is still projected to land another linebacker, defensive lineman, and defensive back for the 2023 recruiting class. That’s also just of now. More recruits will decide after they have taken official visits to campus in the Fall once the Buckeyes start playing some games.

Prospects like John Walker, Tackett Curtis, and Kayin Lee are all projected to attend Ohio State. The Buckeyes will be making a hard run at all of these players the rest of the summer, as well as other prospects who have the eye of the Ohio State football program.

The 2023 class is quickly shaping up to be one of the best recruiting classes that Ohio State has ever had. There is a lot of room for the class to get better too. Ohio State only has 13 commits right now. They have room for at least 10 more recruits to fill out this class.
