The opponent for the Ohio State basketball team in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge has been announced. You’re going to want to mark your calendars for this one.

According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, the Ohio State basketball program will be heading down to Cameron Indoor Stadium to run it back with the Duke Blue Devils a part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. This is a rematch of last season’s thriller in the Schott.

Shortly after Rothstein announced it, the Ohio State basketball team’s Twitter page made it official. This matchup is a headliner of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and will more than likely be televised on ESPN.

Last year when Ohio State faced off with Duke it started out looking like the Blue Devils were going to run away with it and it wouldn’t be a close contest. E.J. Liddell and the Buckeyes put together a perfect 2nd half in route to coming from behind and upsetting the #1 team in the country at the time.

The win over Duke last year was no doubt the Ohio State basketball team’s best win of the season. They will be facing a new-look Blue Devils team on November 30th, exactly a year apart from last year’s season-defining win over them.

This will be an excellent test for the Ohio State basketball team. It will give us an idea of what to expect from this team moving forward in the season. We will find out quickly how they compete with a highly ranked team in one of college basketball’s loudest and most historic venues. The mixture of youth and experience will be challenged early in the upcoming season.

Next. E.J. Liddell could be the steal of the NBA Draft. dark

The Buckeyes have only announced two non-conference games so far, but it’s looking like it won’t be a cakewalk of a non-conference schedule.
