If you want to be one of the best quarterbacks in college football and win a lot of games, you should join the Ohio State football program. That’s what quarterback prospects have learned since Ryan Day joined the program back in 2018. They know how good of a coach he is.

The Buckeyes have had the likes of Dwayne Haskins, Justin Fields, and now C.J. Stroud light it up on the field under Day. Sure, all of those players have a large amount of talent. You can’t put up numbers like these guys have and not have some talent in your body already.

But the coaching is the one constant. Day’s coaching has developed all of these quarterbacks into first-round picks, or a future first-round pick in Stroud’s case. New prospects have learned that Ohio State is where they need to be if they want to go to the NFL.

Past success is why the Buckeyes have become the preferred destination for some great prospects. One of them is Dylan Raiola, who is the top quarterback in the 2024 class. He is one of the best prospects in the entire country, not just the best quarterback.

The Buckeyes have a great culture for quarterback prospects to thrive and develop the skills that they need to succeed at the next level, assuming they are rafted into a decent situation. Stroud, Kyle McCord, and Devin Brown are already getting some of that development right now.
