By far the best moment of the 2021 season for the Ohio State football team was the final game of the season against Utah in the Rose Bowl. While it didn’t start out great, the Buckeyes were down 21-7, it finished up in record-breaking fashion for two members of the Buckeyes.

Stroud was one of them. He through for a Rose Bowl record 573 yards and 6 touchdowns. He was simply outstanding all day in what turned out to be his best game of the season. It was a great way for him to end the year, even though he was without his two top receivers.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba was the other record-setter. He had 15 catches for 347 yards and 3 touchdowns, which was a Rose Bowl record as well. He showed that he might actually have been the best wide receiver the Buckeyes had last season with that performance.

It was a great way to cap off a season that hadn’t quite gone as planned up to that point. It also gave fans hope for how good the Buckeyes could be this year in 2022, specifically on offense. They showed that they are going to be one of the most prolific offenses in the country this upcoming season.

Winning the Rose Bowl 48-45 was a great way to end the season. Ohio State ended with a win and was able to show that despite not having much to play for, they were still good enough to beat a team that won the Pac-12 in an epic showdown.
