The Ohio State football team may not have had the season that fans wanted them to in 2021. They lost two games, including one to TTUN for the first time in 10 years, and failed to make the College Football Playoff. They didn’t even make it to the Big Ten Championship.

Even so, there are moments from last season that deserve to be celebrated before we get too far removed from the year. I like to go into each new season with positive thoughts from the previous year to sort of manifest an even better season coming up.

While last season may not have had a ton of signature moments, there are still a lot of great moments to choose from when it comes to this list. Ohio State wasn’t a bad football team last season, they just didn’t end up getting to where they wanted to go at the end of the year.

There are three distinct moments from last season that I remember as being the best. Coincidently, they all happened late in the season. The beginning of the year just didn’t have much juice to it after the Buckeyes lost at home to Oregon in the first home game of the year.

Even so, there was still some magic that happened late on in the year. The first two moments on this list happened when the Buckeyes still had a chance to make the College Football Playoff. The first moment on this list was a great individual performance.
