The Ohio State football team is going to have a lot of motivated players on their roster this year. They are coming off a two-loss season that saw them lose to their rivals for the first time in a decade. They want to get back to the national championship as they did in 2020.

Perhaps no player has a bigger chip on their shoulder than Kamryn Babb. Babb is someone who has had some of the worst luck I’ve ever seen from a college football player. He has missed three full seasons due to injuries to his knees and has yet to catch a pass in his collegiate career.

Babb was a top-100 recruit when he was coming out of high school. He then tore his ACL in back-to-back years before suffering another injury last season. He’s only seen action in the shortened season of 2020, and that was mostly on special teams.

The Ohio State football team might have the most talented group of receivers in the country. There are four guys who will see a lot of snaps and were either four or five-star recruits out of high school. Babb isn’t slated to fall into that rotation right now.

Even so, Babb is going to work his butt off to make an impact on this team. He wants to get out there and catch some passes. He’s never gotten the chance to show what he is fully capable of. This is going to be his last chance to do so and he’s not going to let anything stop him from doing it.

Next. Leave Jack Nicklaus alone. dark

Babb is by far the player that has the biggest chip on his shoulder. He hasn’t just been carrying it for one year, but for the last four years. He was robbed of his opportunity to shine and won’t let that happen again.
