The Ohio State football team is going to be the favorite to win the Big Ten Conference yet again this year. Even though they weren’t able to win it last year, they return most of their squad from last year, including some dynamic players on offense.

Ohio State will have the best offense in the country. Even so, the uncertainty around the defense still gives other teams a shot to usurp them as favorites. The Big Ten will be a relatively strong conference again and there’s one team the Buckeyes will have to worry about.

That team is TTUN. Ohio State lost to them for the first time in a decade last year. It was their second loss of the season and one that knocked them out of the College Football Playoff discussion. The Buckeyes certainly remember that and will be looking for revenge.

While TTUN loses its two best defensive players and their starting running back, they are still going to be a good team. They will be the second-best team in the Big Ten until that final game of the year. It wouldn’t surprise me to see both the Bucks and the Wolverines undefeated heading into The Game.

The Ohio State football program has some of the best cumulative talent in the country. In my opinion, it’s up to the coaches to put it all together and help them win games. This is a big year for Ryan Day after he changed most of the defensive staff in order to fix the defensive lapses they had last year.

As usual, the conference title should come down to The Game. Whoever comes out of the West is irrelevant in my view. The conference title will come down to the two blue-bloods of the Big Ten.
