With the NFL Draft officially over for this year, we take a look at how each team across college football did with getting their prospects drafted. The Ohio State football team had some low numbers this year, but not at the position Brian Hartline coaches.

The Buckeyes’ wide receivers coach had about the best draft of any assistant coach in the country. He was able to have three guys that he coached get drafted back-to-back-to-back. They were all taken in the first round and all were taken in the top-12.

Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, and Jameson Williams were those wide receivers who got taken. All three of those players were in the same receiver room just two seasons ago. What’s crazy is that Jaxon Smith Njigba was in that room too, and he’ll be a first-round pick next year.

Hartline had the best recruiting pitch that any assistant coach can give. He showed that if you come to the Ohio State football program as a receiver, he will get you to the first round of the NFL Draft. He will develop you into a truly great player that NFL teams will covet.

The Buckeyes will continue to put receivers into the top of the draft. Next year it will be JSN. After that, it will be Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka. Hartline should be able to grab all kinds of top recruits with his track record and with Ohio State’s track record as a whole.

Next. Haskell Garrett, Demario McCall go undrafted. dark

It was a great draft for Hartline. Hopefully, he keeps having good drafts like this every single year.
