Fox analyst has Ohio State Football rival as better school to get you drafted
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football program has dominated the NFL Draft over the course of time. In fact, no other program has produced more first-round picks than the Buckeyes. They will produce at least two more as well in the 2022 NFL Draft coming up one week from today.
Players from Ohio State have been making a lot of money recently. Still, that’s not enough to be the number one school to get you drafted according to an analyst with Fox. He has another program ahead of the Buckeyes, one that recently beat them on the national state.
According to RJ Young, he has Ohio State as the second-best school to attend to get you drafted. His number one school is Alabama. That’s not something that I can argue with too much if I’m being honest. Alabama has had a lot of success in the past decade too.
What I would argue is that the Ohio State football program is the best place you can be if you want to get drafted AND paid a lot of money. More Buckeyes have signed record-breaking deals in the NFL than Alabama players have recently. Ohio State helps you secure the bag.
The Buckeyes will be adding several players to the NFL next week and are set to add even more next year. If I’m a high school player, I’m taking a really hard look at what Ryan Day is doing in Columbus and I’m trying to get there. He’s got more years left in him than Saban does.
What do you think? Is this a fair assessment by Young? Or do you think Ohio State should be first?
