Top three Dwayne Haskins moments at Ohio State

Dwayne Haskins has been memorialized all day today after news came out of his death. He died very early this morning after being struck by a dump truck on the highway. There are still many unanswered questions surrounding his death, but we won’t dwell on those right now.
I want to celebrate the life of Dwayne Haskins. While many of us only knew the football side of him, that’s the side that I want to celebrate now. He had one of the best individual seasons in Ohio State football history, so I want him to be celebrated for that season and beyond.
There are three distinct moments that I want people to remember about Haskins’ time with the Buckeyes. Some of these moments are individual games and others are moments within games. All three encapsulate what a great Ohio State football player he was.
Many people remember the 2018 season as a failure because Ohio State did not make the College Football Playoff. Many people also remember the drama that surrounded Urban Meyer in his final season. But Haskins had one of the great seasons in Big Ten history that year.
Haskins wasn’t the reason why the Buckeyes didn’t make the College Football Playoff. He was simply spectacular. It was a terrible defense that kept the team from getting a shot at playing for a national title. Unfortunately, that has been a recurring theme for the Buckeyes.
