The Ohio State football program has a strong track record of putting players into the NFL. Most of those players end up having pretty successful careers too. They will be putting some pretty good players into the NFL Draft this year too, including one climbing up draft boards.

Garrett Wilson will be a guaranteed first-round pick. He will more than likely be a top-ten pick too. In fact, there are some projections I’ve seen that have him being taken in the top five. He’s not the one that’s rocketing up draft boards though. That would be his counterpart in crime, Chris Olave.

Olave has been rocketing up draft boards since his blazing-fast 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. He ran an unofficial 4.26 which was later changed to a 4.39. He followed that up with a stellar workout at the Ohio State football program’s Pro Day.

Since then, he’s been meeting with teams and showing teams why he deserves to be a top-ten pick. He can run the full gambit of routes and isn’t just a deep-ball guy. He can do so much more and showed that on tape while he was playing for the Buckeyes in his four years.

Olave good go as high as 8th to the Falcons. There are plenty of teams that need a stud wide receiver, and Olave is just that. He’s not as good as Wilson is, but he’s not that far behind. It’s pretty incredible to have two receivers that are top-ten talents in this draft from the same school.

We won’t know for a couple of weeks where either receiver will end up starting their NFL career. Whoever drafts Olave will be getting a ridiculously good all-around receiver who is a winner. At this point, I’d be shocked if he wasn’t taken in the top ten.
