The Ohio State football team will once again be loaded at wide receiver. Emeka Egbuka is looking to be one of those receivers that can make an immediate impact this season as one of the outside receivers. It seems like he’s having a pretty good Spring so far.

Egbuka showed off his great skills during today’s practice. We saw some of the potential of what he can do in the Rose Bowl when the Buckeyes took on Utah. He had a really catch on the sideline that was a really nice over-the-shoulder catch. He topped that today.

Video circulated online of Egbuka making a great one-handed snag on a deep pass from C.J. Stroud during 7-on-7 drills during today’s practice at the Woody. You can see just how good of a catch it was in the clip below.

As you can see, Egbuka is able to bring the ball in one-handed and still keep his balance. That’s a touchdown that would be insane to have on Saturdays this Fall. Egbuka’s talent has never been in question. He just wasn’t able to get many snaps on offense as a freshman.

His snap count is going to go way up this season. He’s going to make the offense even better this season. That’s especially true if he keeps making ridiculous catches like that in an actual game. That’s something that defenses simply can’t stop.

While Egbuka’s catch was very good, Stroud’s throw was also on point. He dropped it right in there where only his receiver could catch it. That’s something he’s been working on this offseason and it looks like his hard work is paying off.
