It was a good run for the Bengals. Five former Ohio State football players play for the Bengals and a lot of them had a big part in Cincinnati making it to the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, it didn’t end up going the way that they wanted it to, losing to the Rams 23-20.

Joe Burrow did everything that he could to win the game. His offensive line let him down yet again, and that’s why the Bengals ultimately lost. Burrow went 22/33 for 263 yards and a touchdown. He was sacked 7 times in the game, which was way too much for him to overcome.

Isaiah Prince had himself a rough game. He was part of the offensive line that allowed those 7 sacks. He wasn’t able to keep Aaron Donald from wreaking havoc. Eli Apple also had himself a rough game, giving up the game-winning touchdown to Cooper Kupp.

Vonn Bell did his best to win the game. He had a very strong game, finishing with 7 tackles and 1 tackle for a loss. Bell was the best player in Cincinnati’s secondary all year long. Sam Hubbard was also pretty good in the game, having 8 tackles with 2 tackles for loss.

While these five former Buckeyes don’t get a ring, one former Ohio State football player will get a Super Bowl ring. Jordan Fuller will be getting a ring, even though he missed the whole season with an injury. At least not every former Buckeye goes home upset.

It was a great game to watch. I feel bad for all the Buckeyes who didn’t get the outcome they were hoping for.
