The Ohio State football team is turning its attention to recruiting while they have to wait until Spring to put the pads on. The Buckeyes are trying to improve its future roster. They might be able to get a four-star offensive lineman to help do just that.

That four-star offensive lineman is Austin Siereveld from Middletown, Ohio. He stands at 6’5 and 315 pounds and has experience playing mostly tackle. He is one of those in-state kids that Ryan Day is trying to keep in the state of Ohio and with his Buckeyes.

Siereveld is a prospect in the 2023 class. He has now narrowed down his school choice to six possible landing spots; Ohio State, Michigan, Cincinnati, Iowa, Notre Dame, and Alabama. Those are some pretty darn good schools to be able to choose from.

If those schools are any indication of how programs think he can develop, Siereveld can be a really nice prospect. Day and new offensive line coach Justin Frye are going to try to keep him from going else. He hasn’t made a decision as to which of these six are the favorite.

The Ohio State football program needs as many talented guys up front as they can get their hands on. They want to try to prevent what happened against Oregon and TTUN from happening again in future seasons. Siereveld is a guy who can help that as well.

The 2023 class for the Buckeyes is still very much in progress. They only have four commits for that class after Sonny Styles reclassified to come in early and play in 2022. It’s unclear as to when Siereveld could be making his decision, but he’s surely going to be taking a lot of visits before he does. We’ll definitely let you know when he decides.
