It’s interesting how things work. You win one game in ten years and all of a sudden you can beat your rival whenever you want. Apparently, that’s how TTUN fans think it works against the Ohio State football team. They continue to get chesty on Twitter despite winning The Game only twice in 20 years.
Below are a few examples of fans that think they somehow will now own the Buckeyes for years to come despite evidence of the contrary. The first thing I saw was some dude who leads the SB Nation site for TTUN talking about Ryan Day’s NFL prospects.
Ryan Day has zero interest in being an NFL coach because the NFL has zero interest in Ryan Day.

Uhhhhh we know that’s not true. The only reason why Day hasn’t taken interviews is that he has repeatedly said that he doesn’t want to be anywhere but Columbus. It’s certainly not because the NFL doesn’t have any interest in him. Of course, several fans of TTUN started piling on about this comment. When shown how good Day has been against TTUN, a fan predictably said something stupid.
Haha with urbans recruits 😂 Day is probably gonna end up being the next cooper 😂

Ah yes. Day, who has lost once to TTUN in his three years, is turning into John Cooper. Not the guy who couldn’t get the Vikings job because he has gone 1-5 against Ohio State, which is actually halfway to Cooper’s terrible record against TTUN. It seems this guy has it backward.
He wasn’t the only TTUN fan getting chesty though.

It’s pretty funny to me how much TTUN fans can talk crap after winning ONE game against the Ohio State football program since 2011. I also wouldn’t get used to winning that game if I were them. Now that Day made wholesale changes on defense, they’re going to be hard to beat.
Yes, Ohio State football fans can be chesty too. That is especially true when they are talking about TTUN. The difference is that Buckeye fans have earned the right to talk after having consistently owned TTUn over the course of two whole decades.
I do like this kind of talk on social media though. It’s good for the rivalry. It was getting kind of hard to talk smack to a dead horse for the last 20 years.
