The one prospect that the Buckeyes aren’t sure that they are going to get is Christen Miller. Miller is a four-star defensive lineman from Ellenwood, Georgia. He is the 19th-best defensive lineman in the country and the 13th-best defensive lineman in the state of Georgia.

Miller is still undecided with his decision. It’s unclear which way he is leaning, as he is still considering a number of schools. Besides Ohio State, he is considering Oregon, Georgia, and Miami. All of those schools are still in play before his decision.

As far as when Miller will make that decision, that’s good news for nervous Buckeye fans. He will make his announcement early on National Signing Day, announcing at 9 am on CBS Sports HQ. Ohio State coaches will know early whether they will land him or not.

Miller is someone who is very skilled. Larry Johnson can really coach up defensive linemen, and Miller could end up being an elite prospect if he gets the coaching that he needs. He also needs to gain just a little bit more weight to be an effective defensive tackle.

Miller is the only prospect that the Buckeyes don’t have a super great feeling about heading into National Signing Day. There’s still a fairly good chance that he chooses another school. Adding him would give the Buckeyes 22 commits for this class.

The final prospect we are watching is someone else who should sign with the Buckeyes but stopped short of a statement affirming his commitment like Hinzman did.
