The Ohio State football team lost to TTUN almost a month ago. In that game, we saw the Buckeyes get absolutely gashed by the run game. They were getting pushed around up front and couldn’t do the same on the offensive side when they had the ball.

After the game, TTUN’s offensive coordinator Josh Gattis called the Buckeyes “soft”. It was an assertion that was hard to dispute after having watched that game. Ohio State certainly wasn’t tough in that game. Now, we are going to find out if they are truly soft.

The Rose Bowl will give us a good test of how tough his Buckeye team is. As of right now, no one has decided to sit out the game. That means that Ohio State will have its mostly fully healthy roster for this game. They play a team that will punch them in the mouth if they’re not ready for it.

We will find out if the Buckeyes are indeed soft or not really quick in this one. This Utah team absolutely destroyed the same Oregon team that beat Ohio State, and Utah beat them twice. They are no joke and will come into this one highly motivated.

Ohio State seems like they are coming into the game motivated as well. Many of them have talked about ending the season on a winning note. They all want to wash the bad taste out of their mouth that The Game left. I know all of the coaches want that too.

If the Ohio State football team loses this game too, then they truly were a soft team. I don’t hold that opinion, but a loss on New Year’s Day would certainly change my mind. We have just a couple of more weeks before we found out the truth.
