The Ohio State football program will be filling out its 2022 recruiting class today during the early signing period. There are a whole host of recruits who will officially become new Buckeyes as they sign their letters of intent. They will officially become college players.

Ohio State already has 19 recruits who they know will be signing their letters today. In fact, none of these players are really even at risk to flip, which is rare when Signing Day approaches. All of these guys are solidly locked in as commits, barring something drastic.

As of right now, the Ohio State football program has the fourth-best class in the country. They have a slight chance to catch Texas A&M for the third spot, but I’d be very surprised if they did. The Buckeyes will only be adding a few more guys today, and A&M can add some real firepower.

The 19 recruits who we know for sure will be signing their letters today are:

  • Five-star linebacker C.J. Hicks
  • Five-star safety Sonny Styles
  • Four-star quarterback Devin Brown
  • Four-star cornerback Terrance Brooks
  • Four-star linebacker Gabe Powers
  • Four-star receiver Caleb Burton
  • Four-star edge rusher Kenyatta Jackson
  • Four-star receiver Kaleb Brown
  • Four-star defensive lineman Caden Curry
  • Four-star receiver Kyion Graves
  • Four-star tackle Tegra Tshabola
  • Four-star receiver Kojo Antwi
  • Four-star cornerback Jyaire Brown
  • Four-star running back Dallan Hayden
  • Four-star tackle George Fitzpatrick
  • Four-star corner Ryan Turner
  • Four-star athlete Kyle Stokes
  • Three-star tight end Bennett Christian
  • Three-star tackle Avery Henry

We know the guys who will be a part of this class so far. We will find out who else will join these other young men becoming Buckeyes. There are a few guys we are keeping our eye on throughout the day. It’s just good not to have to sweat out anybody flipping from this group.

UPDATE: Terrance Brooks has flipped from Ohio State to Texas. He has decided to follow Quinn Ewers. The two were close and Brooks decided to stay closer to home. This is a bummer for sure, but if he wants to go to a program on the decline, that’s his prerogative.
