Ohio State Football: 3 more prospects who could sign on Signing Day
By Ryan Stano
The final recruit on this list is defensive lineman Hero Kanu. Kanu is an interior lineman that stands at 6’5 and 293 pounds. He is someone that can certainly fill holes up the middle of the field. That’s why he’s listed as a four-star prospect out of Rancho Santa Margarita, California.
Kanu is a big and strong player who also has quickness to him. He’s really a nice hybrid, which is exactly what you want out of today’s defensive tackles. Kanu is also the rawest prospect of the guys on this list because he has only been playing football for two years.
That rawness is what makes Kanu so exciting as a prospect. He’s playing football this well and he doesn’t even really know what he’s doing yet. Ohio State would love to be able to develop him into a true blue-chip type of prospect. The Buckeyes know that they need to get more physical up front.
Kanu is also the prospect who is most likely to sign with the Ohio State football program on this list. He is projected to do just that. It would be a major surprise if he decides to go elsewhere. He’d be a solid addition to a class that needs an interior defensive lineman.
If even just one of these guys ends up signing with the Buckeyes tomorrow. it’s a win. If all three guys end up in Columbus, that’s a great way to finish off the early signing period. We’ll let you know how the signing period goes, including if any of these guys sign.
