10 Bold Predictions for Ohio State Football in The Game
By Alex Austin
Emeka Egbuka returns a kickoff for a touchdown
He has been so close. Emeka Egbuka has been a few shoe-string tackles away from taking a kickoff return for a touchdown. Players use The Game to step up and make a name for themselves, and that is what Egbuka is going to do in this game.
I think the Wolverines will put up more points on the board than previous teams, which will give Egbuka more opportunities in the return game. A key special teams play is going to push the Buckeyes over the edge, and Egbuka will provide the spark with a touchdown return.
Burke has more PBU than receptions on his receivers all game
Denzel Burke has been a huge breath of fresh air for Ohio State this season. Thinking they were entering the season with two experienced starters that would compete to be first-round picks, Burke has instead been the player to step up and be the lock-down corner on the opposing team’s best receiver.
Against a passing attack that relies more on efficiency than explosiveness, Burke may not be tested often in this game. However, when the Wolverines are foolish enough to test him, he is going to provide exceptional coverage and be able to end drives with key pass breakups.
